These two long barns once served as cattle feeder/finishing sheds—part of a system designed to fatten animals quickly on grain before market. Like many structures built for industrial-style agriculture, they reflect a model that prioritizes speed and volume over ecology and animal well-being. We’ve chosen a different path—one rooted in regeneration, diversity, and respect for the land. We no longer finish cattle this way, and these barns now stand as reminders of a system we’re working to move beyond.
But we believe in transformation. And we’d LOVE your ideas for repurposing them. We're open to anything that turns something old into something healing, beautiful, and new.
What would you do with these structures? Please send ideas!!!
